This cache is situated in Albert Park, Melbourne, in a BBQ facility next to the Middle Park community Palyground.
The reason for this cache is to bring people to this playground, I played here all the time as a kid and reckon it's great it's still there and that it is still as fun and a great place to bring the family and especially the kids.
This park was built by the community over 5 days in 2002. Next to Grand Prix grandstands this is a playground to race to (keeping to the speed limit of course!) Ticketed parking. Huge wooden fort style playground with lots of places to explore. Plenty of swings, slides, tunnels and various walkways and bridges. Sheltered BBQ and tables. Some shaded tables and seats under the trees and toilets.
The cache itself is situated only a short walk from the ground itself in a BBQ shelter. I would have liked to put it in the ground itself but I feared that may have been stumbled upon by the children using it.
