To honour the The Queen's Diamond Jubilee we have hired one of the large BBQ's at the fabulous Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
The hire of the BBQ is being funded from the proceeds of the Raffle held on the 40th Hampshire Mid Week Meet. We have reserved the Cannonball BBQ for this regal celebration.
Charcoal will be provided along with advice on how to expertly burn your own food. All you need to bring is your own food to cook and whatever liquid refreshments you so desire.
The site has its own free parking area for the event attendees and their carriages, which will be signposted. There is a large shelter in case the weather turns unpatriotic.
To add to the Majesty of the occasion please feel free to dress accordingly if you so wish. All Corgi's and their well behaved relations are welcome. There is an area close by for field games and we'll bring some equipment but please bring your own ideas too.
Unfortunately we do not have a license for jousting.
