Geocache Description:

Crucially to this cache - the rules of geocaching state that you cannot log a cache until you have signed the log! Its not finding the cache that is the hard part - its getting into it! We board Guide Dogs so we are out this way a lot and I can get into the cache fast now (plenty practice!) so I will be checking the log book and deleting any claim without matching signature!

Its taken me about 15 mins on average to get in to it. So I've hidden it near to a really nice bench (that I dont know any history on - if anyone knows anything then I would be interested to find out!) so that if its a nice day you can have a seat and admire the views while you figure it out! Its also near to the Golden Arches so if the weather is miserable you could go for a coffee and do it. If you are taking the cache elsewhere to try and open it could you please leave the laminated "Harmless Geocache" sign so that other cachers know they are in the right place if they come looking while you are gone. Please make sure the sign is on the top of the ammo bag when you put the cache back - it would look pretty dodgy if a muggle found it!

The cache is named after Septimus Signus - a character from the game Skyrim - who has a Dwemer cube that is very complex to get into!

If you follow the path across the road and past the Guide Dogs building on your right there is a lovely walk towards and views of Forfar Loch.

Its probably best not to park in the Angus Council car park but in the little informal (muddy) car park between their car park and the Guide Dogs'.

I have an antique GPS and every time I took a waypoint the co-ords had changed slightly. The published co-ords are within 6 foot. Please feel free to log your exact co-ords - that might help future cachers. (Mum promises we are getting a better GPS as soon as Ebay have one at a decent price!)

The cache is not hard to find - the hint will help - finding it isnt really the point of this one - its getting in that will test you!

Please be aware that some of the offices might be able to see you - dont act too suspiciously will you?!?!

This cache is 1.5 terrain but is wheelchair and buggy accessible altho you may need some help retrieving the actual cache - but as I said that's not really the point of this cache! The walk to the loch is wheelchair accessible too.
