Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above coordinates but they will take you to one of the possible entry points to the area where the cache is placed.

It can also be approached along paths from the Rest and Be Thankful, and combined with the cache there, and others on Corstorphine Hill. There are plenty of great picnic spots in this area, and on the rest of the hill.

This is a simple puzzle cache. All the information you need to find it is in the description.

The cache is named for the Rosebay Willowherb and Gorse flowers which cloak large areas of this hillside in Summer and Spring respectively, and can be seen for miles around. The coconut scent of the gorse can be quite phenomenal on a sunny day.

The Friends of Corstorphine Hill (www.corstorphinehill.org.uk) have worked tirelessly over the years to preserve and maintain the Hill as a fabulous semi-wild amenity area for city residents and visitors.

FROM NEAR CZ

There are fabulous views from here across the City and South to the Pentlands.

Many thanks to the Edinburgh Countryside Rangers for permission to site the cache.

Congratulations to The Searchdog for the FTF
