Located near the cycle track "Klarälvsbanan". Easy terrain. Picnic table, toilet and fine views over the lake nearby. Nearest parking about 3 km north at the old Deje railway station. There is a bus stop there with regular buses travelling north and south.

Namn NKLJ-banan Tunnelberget
Tunnelberget är vid sidan av Syrsjön. En L formad sjö i Forshaga kommun omringad av ca 200m höga kullar. Det fanns en småspårig järnväg från 1904 med sträckning Karlstad- Hagfors. Spåren rivs 1990-1 och så småningom anlades cykelbanan -Klarälvsbanan. Här vid tunnelberget har det funnits en tunnel vars tak sprängdes bort. Då byggdes styckspåret förbi.
Name: NKLJ-track Tunnel mountain
Tunnel hill is located on the banks of Syrsjoen, an L shaped lake in the municipality of Forshaga, surrounded by 600 ft high range of hills. A narrow gauge railway between Karlstad and Hagfors was built here and used from 1904 to 1991. Eventually the cycle trail “Krarälvsbanan” replaced the track. There was a tunnel here, but it was removed. The track was temporarily relaid at this time.
