Von dort aus seht ihr eine der größten Solaranlagen in Südthüringen. Wo jetzt über 10.000 Solarmodule stehen, war bis vor wenigen Jahren eine Mülldeponie. Die Anlage kann bis zu 2,4 MegaWatt Strom liefern, was ca. 20 Prozent des Bedarfs der Stadt Eisfeld entspricht.
Der Standort ist ein gutes Beispiel für ein Umdenken im Bereich der Ver- und Entsorgung.
Es gibt ein Parkmöglichkeit für max. 2 PKW oder Krad bei N 50° 25,062 E 10° 56,115.
Mit dem Rad kann man fast bis zum Cache fahren.
