Catapult in the D2D Country Park Traditional Cache
Sweeney Toddlers: Cache still there but hard to access, so time to say good night. This area needs some cache turnover anyway. Thanks to all who visited! We've removed the container.

Leave the car parking area by using the wee path, go left at the junction then follow the path down a newly built staircase towards the Brock Burn and GZ. Hidden close to the path (not the best hide if we are honest) to avoid any damage to the nearby habitat. Please bring a pen. Just so you can't say you weren't warned, there are some nettles at GZ to add to the challenge. Not bad in April but protective clothing may be needed in the Summer....LOL....

This cache is in part of the up and coming Dams to Darnley Country Park (click on the hyperlink for much more information). It's a great place to cycle, walk or (apparently) fish. The approach can either be down from Aurs Road or up from Darnley. If you carry on up to Waulkmill Glen you'll find a lovely walk, several caches and some interesting buildings below the reservoir which used to be home to a cache called 'A Touch of the Polynesian'. The cache is near, but not in, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) - the area on either side of the burn. Be sure to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code (SOAC) at all times while in this woodland.
