Waldo and I were on a walk when we happened upon a spot that captured our imagination. Our story is below. Please log your own story, or if you know the true story about this place, share that instead. Pictures welcome, especially doctored ones. Stay on the cattle trails, following the general area waypoints given and your short 2 mile hike should be enjoyable. (You may be sorry if you try a short cut.) Cache is a soda bottle preform - BYOP.

Our Story

Waldo and I were out on a morning hike when we came to a nice shady tree next to a huge boulder and decided to take a break. Just as we got comfortable, a voice said, "Hi, my name is Alice. Would you like to join me for tea?". We looked up and there was a young girl all dressed up in her Sunday best. I guess I should have answered but I just stared in wonder. I looked over at Waldo and he was looking at me, a confused look on his face. I looked back only to see the girl walk over to the end of the boulder and disappear. Waldo and I walked over to the end of the boulder and found a hole. She must have gone down that hole. Remembering the story of Alice from my youth, I decided that following her down that hole was a very bad idea.

When I got back to the car I wondered if it was all true. Perhaps those cactus fruits I had eaten ...

I guess we'll have to wait for some other Geocachers to tell us the true story of "The Hole".
