Geocache Description:

This cache is not located at the posted co-ordinates. Finding it should be, well, elementary.

It was a beautiful sunny autumn day. I had just finished my hospital rounds and was about to go for a pleasant walk with Mrs. Watson, when a hansom cab pulled up to the curb and Sherlock Holmes jumped out and ran to our door.

“Hurry, Watson, the game’s afoot and we need to close this case before dark.”

He was covered in mud, and as he stood there impatiently waiting, attempted to wipe his face with a mud caked sleeve. I was putting on the boots which Mrs. Watson had brought me.

“I’ll tell your patients that you should be back by dark, John, in a fowl mood and covered with mud”, she said.

“Shall I bring my Revolver, Holmes?” I asked, but he only muttered that the GPSr should be sufficient, and we might still have a chance to succeed if I would only wait to lace my boots in the cab.

As we rode along, Holmes explained the case. It seems that a cache has been hidden near a nature trail which has at least three public points of entry. Each point has a warning sign, and the thing we seek is close to one of them.

“We have to find the container and replace the log with a blank one before Moriarity’s minions figure this out and find it first.” Holmes said, “The highly regarded ProBob, Geoconsumer, Da Finns, Captain Obvious, and the most evil Raven429, among others, are bound to be working on this even as we speak.”

The cabby dropped us off at the southernmost trailhead, the Walk of Faith.

"One more thing, Watson," Holmes said, "I’ve been in these woods searching all day. I’m totally drained, so it will be necessary for us to drive from sign to sign until we find the correct one.
