Those cachers who complete the Chester County Scavenger Hunt will be rewarded with a beautiful EPAC signature item.

This scavenger hunt will bring you to many parts of Chester County while you attempt to earn points. Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the 3 highest scores as calculated by an EPAC member at 4 pm at West Bradford Bar & Grill.

The 3 ways to earn points are:

1. DOCUMENT: take pictures of a specific place or thing
2. COLLECT: collect a list of specific things
3. ANSWER: give us answers to provided questions

All of this information will be handed out to registered teams, at noon, after registration is complete. Teams can consist of 1 person or many, as long as each member has a seat belt. Children are more than welcome to play as they make great scavenger hunters. Each team will be provided a plaque with your team name. All teams will begin at the same time - noon. At this time you will receive a booklet (including the cell #s of all EPAC members) of all the possibilities of things you need to take pictures of, collect items, and information that you need to gather along with their point value. You will not be able to do everything on the list. You will need to pick and choose what it is that you want to do. Each item will be given a point value. When you accomplish this one item you will receive its point value. Some activities will earn you 1 pt and some will be 10 pts. You need to choose amongst the easy/difficult and the 1 pointers/10 pointers. Teams with the most points, at 4pm, will win. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

What is required from you:

1. Team name
2. All team members must be able to fit in one car and have a seatbelt
3. One car
4. Device that takes pictures and that can store these pictures
5. GPS
6. Huge box to put your scavenger hunt finds in
7. Food and drinks to keep you going for 4 hours

Things that are suggested:

1. Lap-Top or Smart Phone to help with your searches * * * * * * * ** * * * * * * * *

All teams need to return no later than 4pm. If there is a tie, the team that returned the earliest, will win. Scavenger hunt will conclude at West Bradford Bar & Grill, NOT Shadyside Park. At this time you will meet with an EPAC member and will have to prove: 1.) what pictures you have taken 2.) what items you have collected 3.) what questions you have answered. YES, you need to prove everything in order to earn your points. Sorry, no proof = no points.

At any time while you are at West Bradford Bar & Grill, feel free to purchase food or drink. We will be located on the outdoor patio.

Bar has 3 rules:

1. Always mind your P's and Q's.
2. Drink responsibly and be safe.
3. Experiment and have fun.

There are many geocaches in the area to enjoy while doing this scavenger hunt and NEW caches will be published the day of the event. Coords will be handed out at noon. Each team is responsible for their own actions. Be sure to be respectful of the environment at all times. You do not have to participate in the scavenger hunt to attend this event. Everyone is invited to join in the fun, either at Shadyside Park at 11:00 am or West Bradford Bar & Grill at 4:00 pm. There will be a seperate log at both locations so that this event can be logged once or twice depending on your participation.
