Located on the backside of Bear Creek Park. Bring your camera as there are lots of photo opportunities! The cache is not recommended for kids as the actual cache area is steep with cliffs very close by. If you bring a dog it might have a hard time on the steep terrain. It's called "Billy Goat Gruff" because being part billy goat will come in handy on this one!
There is plenty of parking at the entrance to Bear Creek Park. Take the Loop Trail off to the right(up the long flight of stairs). The cache is located off of the back trails that are not used very often, although you still have a few choices of trails to choose from. There are a couple of trails that run along the top ridge, as well as one that runs not far from the creek ...they all are about the same difficulty getting there, but it depends if you want to go down to the cache, or climb up. Both ways are equally difficult.....the terrain is steep with lots of loose rocks underfoot. The cache location is also very close to the edge of a cliff ....PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
The cache container is a square camoed lock n lock. Due to the rocks you will find it may be hard to get a good GPS lock ...I took many readings with two GPS's so the coordinates should be quite accurate. When it was originally placed the cache contained:
