I worked in the Aerospace industry for many years and helped send many of our astronauts into space. My fingerprints are even on the Moon. This leg of the transportation series is dedicated to space travel.



Polaris was designed to study the Ozone loss. The mission, Photochemistry of Ozone Loss in the Arctic Region In Summer (POLARIS) is the latest in a series of high-altitude airborne investigations of atmospheric ozone spanning more than a decade. The objective of POLARIS is to understand the polar ozone as it changes from very high concentrations in spring down to very low concentrations in autumn.
