Once uPond a mountain I was hiking up to Saint Mark's Peak while on my way up I found a lovely little pond and just the right spot to place a cache so that is what I did.
The hike up to Saint Mark's Peak is about 3 hours. Start from the Cypress Bowl Ski parking lot and head up Howe Sound Crest trail. The hike to the cache is mostly up hill and while it will be easy for some and hardest ever for others everyone will agree that with the abundance of scenic views and vistas of the coastal mountains and lions, and the coastal islands and sheer cliffs that you will traverse beside that it is one of the best hiking trail in the GVRD area. With about a 600 meter gain to the Saint Mark's Peak from the trail start this cache is pretty close to that level at about 550 meters up.

This is one you hike you will not want to miss and will be one you will want to do when there is no snow on the mountains which is from about July through Oct. Please check conditions before you attempt to find this cache.
