The 4th St Bridge Traditional Cache
opus215: I'm afraid The Bridge is no more. New owners are remodeling, soon to be Outboards. I'll have to see if we can arrange a new cache after they settle in.

In October 2011, construction began on the new Fourth Street Bridge in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Drivers had faced a lengthy detour to get between Highway 51 and the rest of Tomahawk. We can't forget, that winter a shortcut was allowed across the ice on the Wisconsin River, from SARA Park north to the private boat landing off Collins Street. That was scary and exciting driving on the ICE ROAD in our truck!
In early 2011, Tomahawk opened the new bridge across the Wisconsin River. It s now called the Veterans Memorial Bridge, the 4th Street Bridge, or simply, The Bridge.
Locals, visitors, and businesses along 4th Street (restaurants, motels, gardening, outdoor sports, camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, retail, banks, burger drive-ins, etc. have benefitted by the construction of the bridge, connecting the north to the south of Tomahawk, and beyond.
Cache is located close to the north east corner of The Bridge. An easy Park & Grab, right off the sidewalk. Use stealth at all times; please replace cache better than you found it. Permission given by Captain Andy to place cache on property.
One more cache we've placed along "Old Hwy 51".
Camo mint tin; room for Log, small SWAG and TB's. BYOP
