Island Cache #1, Quamphegan Landing Traditional Cache
Island Cache #1, Quamphegan Landing

I discovered this cache accidentally. It referenced the GeoCaching.com website, but there was no listing for it here.
Small camo-taped lock-and-lock tuppy on ground under trees about mid-island. Just walk around, enjoy the tiny island, and you'll find it ;-)
ACCESS:
Public Parking at Quamphegan Landing.
I selected the "watercraft" icon because I typically park at the landing and take my kayak to this tiny island.
However, I was there during an astronomical low tide and one could have walked to the "island," from the right spot, but I'm not sure about the property rights around the area.
From the public parking area I tend to think a watercraft would almost always be needed (or waders if the tide is low enough and you walk the edge of the river).
UPDATE: 5-18-2012 RiverB contacted me and let me know he was the one who originally placed this cache. Mystery solved! I've updated the listing accordingly.
