Who Needs Assistance? Mystery Cache

A cache requested some years back that I've finally got around to...
Many moons ago, I was asked by a famous Fife Cacher to place a cache at this location - well when you've solved the wee puzzle's location! - as it looked very intriguing from the map. I have to say it looks even more amazing from a satellite view - go on, give it a try!
Anyway, I was given a box full of goodies to be hidden when I was able to do so. Time has ticked by and bless her, I haven't been hassled about it. What an understanding soul she is so I am delighted to finally fulfill her request at long last.
At the time of asking, her son was a massive fan of a certain TV show so if you can work out 'Who' that might be then you'll be we well on the way to solving this wee puzzle. Mind you, the lad's moved on since I was asked to place the cache, as youngsters do, but I'm sticking to the theme...

PS A word of caution - we found evidence of shooting beats and plenty of spent shotgun cartridges all around Star Wood so be vigilant for any shooting underway. Given the number of grouse we saw today, I'd avoid visiting in August.
