Denne bautaen er reist av Åmot historielag 17.mai 1990 til minne om Alvin Stefan Gjølstad, Vinger, Knut Anders Stolpe, Elverum og Edvin Adolf Sørlie, N.Odal som falt i tysk bakhold på dette stedet 22. april 1940. Tyskere hadde gjemt seg i trekroner på trær som var felt ned av nordmenn tidligere.
Du kan enda se rester etter magasiner fra automatvåpen på stedet.


Det avholdes minnestund på stedet hver 17.mai.
