Geocache Description:

Just a "regular" cache in a very nice county park, Killdeer Recreation Area. Might want to bring your fishing pole along.

Killdeer Lake is an eight-acre borrow pit created to build the overpass of Hwy. 30 over the railroad tracks. It has a maximum depth of 28 feet and has good populations of crappie, bluegill, channel catfish and largemouth bass. It provides thousands of enjoyable fishing hours every year.
