Geocache Description:

The Baptist Church in Stoke St Gregory has been meeting in its current home since 1895. The chapel has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade 2 listed building.

The interior of the sanctuary features a continuous gallery, raised pulpit and dais covering the baptismal pool used for believers’ baptism by total immersion.

At the rear, there is a stable block for the horses of those attending the service, although it is no longer used for that purpose!

The church’s website. has details of services and activities.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
