Cache has moved by about 4 ft so cords stay the same just change of hint.
This is a gentle 4 mile walk taking you along the foreshore from Caldicot to Rogiet and returning via the moors. On the outward leg you will have views of the two seven bridges, portbury dock and down the channel to steep holm. There is an abundance of wildfowl and wild life throughout the walk. It is a 15 cache walk 16 if you call in on watch and shoot which you will be passing. The route is on public footpaths and moors tracks which have lots of pot holes but is relatively flat and very little traffic. You will be passing a MOD rifle range so watch out for the red flags when live firing is on you will be escorted through the range. Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights. Most caches are small 150ml tubs and small clip lock boxes suitable for small swaps and trackables Hope you enjoy the series.
