Inauguré en 1992, le Hall Omnisport Saint-Berthuin est utilisé par les écoles occupant le complexe dans la vallée, mais aussi par les nombreux clubs locaux (Volley, Badminton, Escalade, etc).
Une mini piste d'athlétisme indoor, à l'initiative du club namurois (SMAC) et de l'HENAM (école normale située à Malonne, section éducation physique) a été créée depuis peu. Une première en Wallonie qui permet de travailler la technique aussi en hiver, et organiser des compétitions spécifiques de la ligue francophone, qui jusqu'à présent, avait lieu à … Gand.
C'est aussi un lieu nostalgique pour votre serviteur, qui, alors membre du SMAC, participait au mythique Cross du club et aux compétitions inter-écoles, organisées sur le site.

Geopend in 1992, wordt de Hall Omnisport St. Berthuin door scholen van Malonne gebruikt, maar ook door vele lokale clubs (volleybal, badminton, Klimmen, etc.).
Een indoor (kleine) atletiekbaan wordt gecreëerd , op initiatief van de Naamse club (SMAC) en HENAM (lerarenschool van Malonne, sectie "sport"). Dit zou een eerste in Wallonië, om techniek in de winter te oefenen, en enkele wedstrijden van de Franstalige lid te organiseren (die tot nu toe in Gent georganiseerd worden !).
Het is ook een nostalgische plaats voor thermines, die hier als een lid van de SMAC heeft aan crossen en tussen scholen wedstrijden deelgenomen heeft.

Inaugurated in 1992, the Hall Omnisport St. Berthuin is used by schools occupying the complex in the valley, but also by many local clubs (Volleyball, Badminton, Climbing, etc).
A small indoor running track was created on the site, at the initiative of Namur athletic club (SMAC) and the HENAM (Teaching School located in Malonne, Physical Education section). A first in Wallonia, which will allow technical training in winter, and the organization of limited indoor competitions for the French-speaking League, (who are until now organized in... Ghent.
It is also a nostalgic place for your thermines, who, at that time member of the SMAC, participated to cross and inter-school competitions on the site
