*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings kolkata,

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

Yep, it's a park. Not far from the LZ, no tough going to find it.
The ISTAR Series.... The military loves acronyms...
Intelligence, Surveillance, Target acquisition & Reconnissance...

Small cache, log only, blends well with surroundings.
Good site for manuvers......
Turn in (West) from main road: Platte Purchase Road at Coord's 39 16.904'N by 94 36.163'W, go to the LZ Assembly point at 39 16.823'N by 94 36.380'W.
All can participate, but this mission is designed for our returning service men and women, whether wounded, or not.
All caches are wheelchair accessible, if the weather is wet, maybe 20 or 30 feet may be muddy on come caches.
The last Cache, #6 is at the top of the hill, a good grind from cache #5, easier from cache #1, then down-hill to the next (#5 Cache) and the rest around to #1. It is about 1.40 miles round the circuit.
Thank you for your service to this great country of ours. We shall remain forever indebted to you and for your sacrifices.

Placed with permission from Doug at Platte County Parks.
Thanks, Doug, appreciate it.

The way I laid out this cache series was on Google Earth, Counter-clockwise.. sitting in my easy chair. I knew it would be close, but not dead on, I would have to check the area for the best cache sites in person. When I got to the park, I saw that clockwise would be best, especially for wheelchairs. So, I had to change them around, I even had some of the sites mixed up with the Google Earth placements.
Thanks to Glenn's good nature and patience, we got them right now...I hope.
