Geocache Description:

Quick hide in a local park. Log only. BYOP

This park is named after the American Kestrel, a small falcon. This bird has a special place in my heart, as it is the first bird I ever tried to identify. They are common in this area and throughout the United States. While in the park, look around at the roof peaks of the nearby houses, and you may just see one. They tend to bob their tail when perched. The male is more vividly colored and slightly smaller than the female. They have blue wing feathers with black dots, a brownish red back, and a brown streaked breast. They also have a vertical black streak on the face.
