Geocache Description:

I think that everyone loves caches in parks. Geocachers often go to find a geocache and discover that it's in a park that they didn't know existed! Or we visit a park and seek out the geocaches there. This challenge cache is about challenging yourself to find some park caches.

The rules for this one are simple. Before signing the log (the cache IS at the listed coordinates) and claiming the find, you must qualify as below:

1. Find twenty-five (25) geocaches that are in a park.

2. At least one (1) of the geocaches must be in a national park (from any country).
{There have been a few questions about what constitutes a national park for this challenge. I am happy to accept anything that is a park and has "National" in its name, so National Forest, National Historic Site, National Lakeshore, National Seashore, National Monument, etc. all count.}

3. At least one (1) of the geocaches must be in a state park (from any state).

4. At least one (1) of the geocaches must be in a county/parish park (from any county/parish).

5. At least one (1) of the geocaches must be in a city/town/village park (from any city/town/village).

6. Any types of caches count except events.

7. You may not include a cache that you own.

8. This cache itself may not be included.

When logging your find for this cache, you may use a bookmark list or include a list of the twenty-five qualifying caches in your “found” log (include GC#, cache name, park name, and date found). In either case, in your "found" log, be sure to designate which caches qualify for the national park, state park, county/parish park, and city/town/village park. For example, here is a list of my four specific (out of the twenty-five) qualifying caches (if I were to choose to log my own cache):

     National Park: GC10HZW - 1/5th the World Geysers in a Square Mile - Yellowstone National Park - 7/27/10
     State Park: GC1BDWW - Cowan Lake State Park Cache - Cowan Lake State Park - 5/3/08
     County Park: GCMAH2 - Anliot-Davidson Nature Preserve - Anliot-Davidson Nature Preserve (Clinton County Park) - 05/05/08
     City Park: GC188R2 - Denver Williams - Denver Williams Park (Wilmington City Park) - 05/05/08

Please do not log this cache as a find if you have not met the challenge and have not listed your qualifying caches in your log. If you do, I will unfortunately be forced to unceremoniously and summarily eradicate your log (and I don’t want to have to do that)!

A note about the cache hide: as with most of my mystery/puzzle caches, the puzzle (or in this case the challenge) is the difficult part; the hide should be easy to find (i.e., the difficulty and terrain of the cache represent your toils while completing the requirements; the actual cache hide is a 1.5/1.5).
