Geocache Description:

This should be a quick find at a park located in a park in a small village. Nice spot for a picnic along the way. May need to bring a blanket.

This cache was created for the 1st Salford Cubs as part of their introduction to geocaching and related badge work. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers meet Monday evenings (Sept. through April) at the community centre and the Cub pack has been charged with maintaining the cache under their leaders' supervision. The community centre is the former S.S. No. 2 elementary school which ceased to be a school in 1974. Discover more history of the community by visiting the museum located in the Village Cheese Mill (great little lunch spot) on Highway 19 (Plank Line.)
When placed, the cache contained: log book and pencil, and the following swag: Cub pencil, Wolf Cub patch, Wolf Cub pin, hackey sack, Scout Canada key chain, as well as a FTF pin and a Wolf Cub coin Travel Bug to be moved along.
