Geocache Description:

Nice easy walk around a scenic pond and canal.

Another great walkway in Airdrie! 3rd in my series that are named after wildlife that frequent the area. The tree Swallow is an impressive little bird with a glossy blue head and back with a white under-carriage. It can be seen performing aerial manuevers and dive bombing for its food which mosly consists of winged insects which it consumes in large quantities. Its breeding range stretches from Central America to Alaska. It usually nests close to water and can be seen in good numbers in this area and has nested in my own back yard. Cache is in a small container with a pencil and a log book. Congrats to K5$ents on the FTF on a rainy morning.
