Je profite de la venue ce jour des équipes de Thalassa, la magazine de la mer, pour créer cette cache.

L’Institut de Promotion et de Formation aux Métiers de la Mer (IPFM) est le résultat de la volonté des élus de la Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat du Var de constituer un lieu dédié aux professions maritimes. Son offre de formation recouvre une grande diversité de métiers dans des secteurs très différents tels que : activités portuaires, transports maritimes, construction et réparation navale, plaisance et pêche.

The famous « Thalassa » television show dedicated to the sea will broadcast from La Seyne sur Mer tonight. I take this opportunity to create a new cache somehow also dedicated to the sea.

The IPFM (which stands for Promotion of formations of sea-related jobs) is the result of the “Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat du Var” ’s will to create an infrastructure dedicated to sea-related jobs. Many different kinds of formations (and therefore jobs) are offered : harbor activities, maritime transportation, naval construction, ships repairing, fishing, recreational crafts, …
