The St. Albans street plan is an unusual pattern of concentric circular streets centred on Circus West and Circus East. Its circular and curved layout was designed by well-known Melbourne architect, Percy Oakden in 1887. The original concept was to have a clean, airy, tree-lined township, with well-built grand residences. The scheme collapsed due to the economic depression in the 1890’s.
The cache is situated in a small park on Circus West. The local council has spent over $12 million upgrading parks and playgrounds. This park features a new modern playground, but funnily enough the original swing set still stands! The park is not a high muggle area, however, stealth will be required as you will be in full view. This is my second hide.
