Geocache Description:

The cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates, but is within walking distance of them. This cache was placed in conjunction with the California Mathematics Council Community Colleges (CMC^3) conference held in Stateline as an introduction to geocaching.

Remember all those times in math class when you asked "When am I ever going to need this?" Well, now would be that time.

The cache is located at N38 57.ABC W119 56.DEF and you can find the coordinates using the following:

A= 3 + 1.5 + 0.75 + ...

B= The number of edges on each side of a dodecahedron.

C= The area of the largest square that can be inscribed in a circle of radius 2.

D= The number of primes less than 10.

E= The number of games played in a round robin tournament with 4 teams.

F= The largest eigenvalue of the identity matrix.

Check sum: A+B+C+D+E+F=30

This area has a VERY HIGH muggle factor. Stealth is key! Please also note that vehicle traffic is high in this area, so use care when walking around.
