Welcome to Sessebegamah (Lake of many passages or bays), now known as Bay Lake. This lake has a history dating back to the 1700s when french-canadian voyageurs made their way from Lake Superior to the Dakota settlement at Kathio on Mille Lacs Lake by way of crossing Bay Lake.
