Appears to be the the shaft of the Tamarack Mine, Shaft #1
I did not believe this was the mine, for some time.... but now enough maps now make me change my mind.... I now believe that this is the Tamarack Mine, #1 shaft. The county road service building to the NW was probably the "machine shop of the old mine system." A small building located just off the road to the SE is labeled from my maps as the "Mineral Range Oil House".
