We would like to invite everyone across the state to join us in celebrating our 5th Anniversary! It is hard to believe that is has been five years already. We are very excited about this years event. We are moving it back to where held our first ever event...Kiwanis Island Park on Merritt Island. This is where we announced the Space Coast Geocachers Association. We had no idea what to expect at that event since it was our first event that Barb and I ever hosted. We offered up pizza for anyone that wanted to show up on a week night. We had almost 100 people show up to that first event and it has been growing ever since. We have been going strong ever since. We have met so many cachers since then.
This event will have many of our normal activities like food, friends, caches and some good ole schmoozing. We have some exciting things planned for this years event. This one will certainly be one of our biggest and most entertaining events to date. After all it is our 5th anniversary so we need to do it up big. We will have some giveaways, raffles, some games and many other things. We will be adding things to this event as we get closer so log your will attend early so you will not miss any announcements that we will send out.
We are excited to announce that we will once again have Dudeswithjeeps famous BBQ! We are honored once again to have the best emcee in the land...that's right IMTOMCAT will once again be providing the music and entertainment for the day. If you have ever seen him in action you know there is nobody better.
Any of you that were at last years event know it was brutally hot. Well good news. This year we will not only have the large pavilion we will also have the room right behind the pavilion that is air-conditioned! That way anyone that needs to get a break from the heat they will be able to this year.
We hope to have a couple of new caches in the park as well as possibly a couple of new ones that will require watercraft. You can launch kayaks or canoes quite easily from this park.
So, make your plans now to attend this event. We are hosting this one on a Sunday this year. Registration will begin around 10:00 am and the event will go until around 3:00. The plan is for lunch to be served at Noon. Raffle will begin around 1:00 pm. We will also be hosting a CITO event on Saturday evening in this same park if anyone would like to come into town early and score a CITO event.

Feel free to bring something to share. We will provide the meat and 2 sides as well as the plates, cups, plastic ware and napkins along with some water. If you want anything else to drink (non alcoholic) then plan to bring that to share. Also any other items you would like to bring would be appreciated.
