The kids have been learning about the solar system so we thought it would be a good opportunity to create a cache series
This series goes through the bush walk in the Harker Reserve
We would suggest you read all of the caches in the series before beginning
The entire walk is around 2km (60 - 90 minutes) each way and you can continue onto the waterfall as well
During the winter months parts of the track can get muddy
Basic Facts About The Earth
You will need some of these for the clues
Distance from Sun: 150 million km
Diameter: 12756 km
Time taken to orbit the sun: 365.26 days
Time taken to spin once on axis: 23.9 hours
Moons: 1
This is the seventh cache in the series
Find the clues to the bonus cache (The Sun) hidden in some of the caches in the series
This cache is on the loop track. The beginning is marked off the main track and returns back to the main track further down. Just follow the blue milk bottle tops attached to trees. If you continue along the loop track you will return to the main track before you reach Venus.
If you have your kids with your just keep an eye on them on the loop track as parts are narrow and it runs along side a stream with a drop down to it
Cache container is a 140ml green tube and should be easy enough to find. There is enough room only for the log so please bring a pen
All caches are within reach of the track. You will not need to jump fences or 'bush bash' to find them
