The JaxParks Challenge


Since Geocaching and parks kind of go hand in hand, The City of Jacksonville, The Cache Station and The Friends of JaxParks would like to welcome you to The JaxParks Challenge.

There have been 34 caches hidden just for this purpose. Inside each one is a special code word that you will need to record for verification of visiting the cache.

For all those committed to completing the challenge, there will be a special trackable Geocoin.

Upon completion of the ParksChallenge you will email The JaxParks Rep with the list of code words that you retrieved from the Geocaches.
About the Park


Losco Regional Park:

Originally known as Southeast Regional Park North, Losco Regional Park is located on Hood Road South, north of Losco Road near Julington Creek. Conveniently located at the crossroads of Jacksonville`s bustling beltway system, Losco Regional Park lies west of Interstate 95 on the north side of Interstate 295. The City of Jacksonville acquired the land for the 210-acre park in the early part of 1998 when it purchased four adjacent parcels with a Florida Communities Trust grant for $3.8 million. The existing amenities were completed in 2004, future phases include a nature center and trails. 2011 Construction is a full size synthetic field for the soccer field.
