The cache is a 2 1/2" x 4" x 6" clear lock n' lock container. It contains a logbook, pen, and a trackable geocoin for the FTF. Daylight hours only.
After the disastrous first inning I have rehidden the cache in the same general area. I would have put it in the original location if I could have found it again: so much has changed and I don't want to irritate the critter that I ticked off the first time.
I have been familiar with J. J. Biello Park off of Canton Highway for years, but this east annex is new to me. It must have been the "horsey" sign on Arnold Mill Road that kept me from seeing the little green "park" sign. I would not have known it was here had I not gone looking for "Seasonal", which is at the front of the park.
The cache is about 650 feet from the nearest parking, the terrain is a 1 - 1.5 until you approach GZ, then it turns into a 3. Watch for thorns, scratchy plants and, especially in the summer under the canopy, ticks. The cache is well hidden and is difficult to see unless you are looking right into its hiding place, and then it is pretty dark.
This cache is on lands managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Pursuant to the requirements of 36 CFR 327.19 or 327.21, the USACE has been notified of the placement of this cache and the appropriate authority has approved the placement.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BLUEEAGLE23 FOR THE FIRST-TO-FIND. WHAT PERSEVERANCE! WHAT DEDICATION! WHAT GOOD EYES!
If you are in for a real challenge, don't forget "Out On A Limb" which is farther back in the woods. Go with a friend since there are certain risks that dictate the prudence of a back-up.
