It has been brought to my attention that some people have been being a bit too aggressive in their search for this cache, and have been being a little rough and careless with the habitat. Let's all try to be courteous not only to nature, but to the next cacher that comes along, shall we? Don't tear up and destroy potential hiding places, as it will then make it too easy for them to find the actual location of the cache. Thank you, everyone.
This cache will bring you on a short and somewhat challenging hike from the parking lot on Hunter's Creek road. The parking lot in question is within 50 feet of the Geocache "The White Pine at the Hunter's Creek Trails Park," GC number 1Q5JC. This cache is can be grabbed along the way to the numerous other caches held within this "side" of Hunter's Creek Park, and is the first cache that I've ever placed in Hunter's Creek Park, and the second Geocache that I've ever placed before!
It's not too far off of the trail, but where it's hidden, isn't going to be entirely obvious, as it's in an area where there are plenty of places where it could be hidden, so you're going to have to do some investigating to find it. The cache itself is a small Lock-N-Lock container big enough for a small log, sealed in a ziplock bag, and a few small swag items. I have it covered up nicely, so please be sure to cover it back up when you're done with it for the next adventurer to come along! Stop and enjoy the nearby scenery and the park!
Oh, and before anyone asks, the name of this Geocache stems from an inside joke with the people that I cache with, one of whom had found every Geocache in Hunter's Creek... until now, haha! :D
