Cache used to be a magnetic key-holder here. But thanks to fellow cachers for replacing it with a different container, because the magnetic case is missing!
I believe it: you can't go home again. This cache is just across the trail from where I grew up. A gray mobile home now sits where my home used to be. I vividly remember the trains coming and going frequently in the day. This entire area has changed completely. There was a coal barn on the same side of the trail as the cache. Down over the hill was the movie theater, barbershop and car dealership, all gone now. The Sunoco gas station is still there though! I remember driving in to put gas into my father's car (probably a Rambler) and driving right out because "I'm not going to pay 25-cents for a gallon of gas!" Seriously, all true! Looks like most all of the old houses in the neighborhood are still there, however. I remember waaaaay back there was a train wreck right behind our house. My sister was home so it had to be when I was in early elementary school days. We were all watching Ed Sullivan on a Sunday night and we didn't even hear any of the wreck!!!! Anyway, thanks for listening.
