Geocache Description:

Small screw top container with trade items. Keep the lid on tight so the wizard does not escape. Well at least till he's traded for.

There is the river side trail which continues to make this one big loop and comes down by the old house by the pond. Yes you can go up that way too. There's a beach where the old fisherman's trail connects with the Eagle Bluff trail. If you are at the bench you are 20 foot away. From the campground path if you get to the bench at the junction go back 20 ft. to the cache location. I don't know how good the coordinates are being close to the Bluff only gives me half a sky. So what will you find at the end of this trail?

Better yet what will you find along the way. You will walk down by the river and the switch back up to the bluff. It you continued down the trail and UP. It's an OK trail, needs a bridge but you can make it past without. If you continue to the top you will find the Markham Spring cache of 2005. Wear sturdy shoes or better boots if going up there. Great views of the river and beyond!!! Last time I was up there I was GPSing the trail for work my son was 4 or 5 years old. He was at home safe. All I could think of was if he was here with me I would have a rope on him. The Bluff has no edge. Yes you can step right off. It was scary to think of doing this with a young child. So as kids and adults visit, enjoy but be careful. Someone please take a camera and post pictures if you get to the top.

From the Mark Twain web site: "The historic Fuchs house was restored by a group of craftsmen under permit from the National Forest. Used primarily by these individuals and their families, it is also available for rent by the day, weekend, or week. For additional Information on Home Resort Rental visit www.markhamsprings.com" Bring water, bug spray. Have fun!!

PS cell service in the campground is site #45 only. Don't know about the top of the Bluff, your results may vary.

FTF !!!! Naked 1, Congratulations.
