Geocache Description:

Welcome to The Highleigh Horseshoe, a series of 26 mixed caches around the lanes and paths of the Highleigh area.

The series is slightly different than most as its comprises of 3 cache types: Traditional, Multi & Mystery and is a mixture of Micro, Small & Medium Containers.

This series is approximately 10.5km/ 6.5m long and can be done easily on foot or on bike as the terrain is pretty much flat and there are no stiles or fences to climb.

To start the series you will need to park up near to cache 1 or at the suggested parking listed and proceed to work your way round the traditional caches 1 - 15.

Within these first 15 caches you will need to find the co-ords for the mystery cache numbered  16, these have been duplicated in several caches for added muggle proofing but have been divided down into North and West Co-ords.

Once you have the co-ords this will enable you to find cache number  16. This cache marks the end of the traditional and start of the Multi stage part of the series.

Cache 16 contains the co-ords for the first of the multi's and the co-ords for other multi's can be found in its preceding cache, There are 9 multi's to be found and  a 10th bonus cache.

While finding the multi's please keep an eye out for the 4 numbers hidden within these caches which form a combination code to unlock the final bonus cache.

All the cache containers are either 35mm Canisters or clip lock boxes coated in black tape and covered in a variety of natures best camo.

We hope you all enjoy the series and remember to please make sure all lids are properly secured back on and caches re-hidden properly to avoid damage and muggling.

Please do note that even though the country lanes have very little in the way of traffic please keep a close eye on small children and dogs as some small sections of the outer part of the series have little or no grass verge.
