Beach Parks is the Sports hub of the Western suburbs. At any time you will see someone playing tennis, softball, baseball, soccer or lacrosse here – or just the local kids kicking the footy or walking the dog. The nomads from the caravan park across the green also like to stretch their legs, chuck a Frisbee and make use of this excellent sports haven. Within walking distance you will find golf, mini golf, and even German Shepherd dog training on the Eastern end of these fields. BMX bikes and boats complete the list of activities you will find within 2 minutes drive from here.
The Bay to Birdwood run on the last Sunday in September starts from here each year. The Bay to Birdwood CLASSIC is also held here every odd numbered year, with vehicles manufactured between 1956 and 1977, so if you grew up with the Hills Hoist, the FC Holden, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Bandstand, Barbie Doll, the space race, rock 'n roll, hippies, the mini, the combi and the Drive in...this event will bring a grin to your face!
