unfortunately I no longer live in Salisbury to maintain this cache. I have kept it alive but it is in serious need of repair, or better still replacement. If a future cacher would be able to replace the log book or even the whole container that would be fantastic..... Many thanks in advance.
The purpose of this cache is to provide a perfect cache for exchanging Travel Bugs.
This plastic lok n lok container is perfect for a quick "cache and dash".
The view is fantastic, take a moment to enjoy the spectacularly view across Salisbury towards the historic cathedral and in the far distance Old Sarum can be seen. This is a great place to exchange Travel Bugs - a great TB hotel.
The container holds a logbook and pencil (please do not remove the pencil), some small items for exchange/keeps........ but mostly, enough space for Travel Bugs and Geocoins to take a rest before continuing their journey.
The 1.1 litre container has been covered in green tape to help camouflage it better from prying eyes. To find the cache you will have to just scramble up the bank as I've just had to move the cache behind the "obvious" due to the council cutting the small branches away....... If any disabled cachers wish then please call in at No 7 and the occupants will be happy to assist with retrieving the cache.
Access is gained up a short but steep road into a cul de sac - the local residents do not mind geocachers stopping here but please DO NOT park for long in this cul de sac as local access is required and the road may block easily.
The cache is suitable all year round, and it is suitable for wheelchair users (although help may be needed to retrieve the cache as mentioned above).
