Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches around Sedgeberrow, along a walk that we enjoy doing on a summers evening, whilst watching for bats and other wildlife. Each cache is named after a bat that you might spot along the way.

Daubenton's bats love water and will often be seen flying back and forth along the river feeding on insects, either just above the water or taking insects from the surface.

The cache is a vitamin box covered in camo tape.

NB Some people have missed the correct footpath to this cache. Trailheads are marked clockwise and anticlockwise.

If heading clockwise, there is no need to cross the A46 to find this. It is easier to stay on the footpath south of the road and avoid the crossing.

If heading anticlockwise, cross the river on the road bridge (near the multi-cache) and then take the footpath. Do not take the footpath opposite when you come out on the road.
