Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches around Sedgeberrow, along a walk that we enjoy doing on a summers evening, whilst watching for bats and other wildlife. Each cache is named after a bat that you might spot along the way.

The noctule is the largest bat you'll find in Britain at 8cm long and with a 35cm wingspan. They tend to fly high over the fields picking off insects on the wing. They are often one of the earliest out of an evening and therefore easily seen.

The cache is a tupperware box covered in camo tape.
