Geocache Description:

This cache is located near Youghal beach it is on the hill. The beach is a 3 miles blue flag beach. There is a scenic view to the Celtic Sea. You can see the Capel Island, Knockadoon head and if you are lucky some boats, fishing boats or the lifeguards. The boardwalk was completed by the end of January 2012. It’s 395 metres long from the car park to the other car park. It cost €137,434 to build it.

The cache is 20 metres off from the boardwalk up to the hill. It’ half way up on the hill. Park in the Pitch & Putt’s car park and cross the road to the small hill and go straight to the edge of the hill, you can see the view to the Celtic Sea, after that go down the steep path.

WARNING! DO NOT GO WHEN IT’S RAINING OR THE WEATHER IS BAD IT IS VERY SLIPPERY AND YOUR CLOTHES CAN BE DIRTY!
