Please BYOP! (Bring your own pen)
You MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time to claim the event.
The event will begin precisely at 16:00 on Saturday, June 9. at the fountain in Market Street, St. Andrews. (OK, so it's earlier than the official WWFM time but it will be too quiet by then)
An Orange Bucket placed at the coordinates will signal the start of the event.
Prior to the start time, mosey and wander about nonchalantly, try not to gather in groups ... Then when the bucket is set down ... converge on Ground Zero!
YOU WILL NEED A PEN or PENCIL to sign a log sheet. There will be an event "meal", group photo, and raffle for very cool prizes. Once the event is finished, we will scatter in all directions leaving the muggles to wonder what just happened?!?
The theme for this event will be a Mexican wave. Maybe not as impressive as in a large stadium, but hopefully there will be a large enough number of bodies and it should be fun.
"Smile and wave, boys (and girls). Smile and wave" as the Madagascar penguins say.
Timetable:
15.45-16.00 Loiter inconspicuously, act like you know no-one.
16:00 Look out for the orange bucket.
16:01 Grab a log sheet, fill it out and drop it in the bucket.
16:10 Raffle for FTF honours and other geo-prizes.
16:12 Mexican wave and group photo
16:15 A Whistle will signal the end of the Event – disperse quickly and in all possible directions. If you missed the signing and the photo, you missed the event.
Although the loggable event finishes at 16:15, you are welcome to join us for a less embarrassing get together for some "liquid refreshment" at the Criterion in South Street. Children may not be allowed inside, but they have tables and seats on the pavement.
Everyone is welcome, if you've never been to an event before then this is an ideal chance to put faces to the strange names you see in the logbooks! More information about the WWFM event can be found on the official WWFM page
