Geocache Description:

A cache released on the day of the annual Queen's Scout Parade in Windsor, to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee year, 2012. This is a small cache close to an annual haunt of the QSWP, in which we have placed several trackables for release. Beware of traffic - although you only need to look one way.

The Queen's Scout Working Party - QSWP - is a national Scout Active Support unit that supports the Scout Association with the running of major national Scouting events, particularly those for Queen's Scouts.

The Queen's Scout Award is the highest youth award achievable in Scouting.

Every year the Scout Association holds an annual parade of Queen's Scouts around Windsor in celebration of their aqchievements. The day includes a Royal review of all new Queen's Scouts, followed by a service in St George's Chapel.

In 2012 over 500 Scouts, including some from commonwealth countries, participated in the parade.

The cache is a small kliplock container with pen, logbook and space for small swaps. It shouldn't be too hard to find, please cover well.
