Welcome To Cool Cache Land!
This Letterbox cache is hidden in Cool Cache Land in the Knickerbocker Area of the Auburn State Recreation Area and the Olmstead loop trail in the city of Cool!
This cache area recently became available and we wanted to entice other cachers out to the CCL. Come enjoy this beautiful area that is great for Hiking, Biking, Horseback Riding and Caching! Cache is a medium pill bottle in Camo, BYOP.
The cache is accessible from a few different approaches, but will require some off trail hiking as the hide area overlooks the parking area behind the Cool fire station.
There are many nearby caches in the CCL to be found. If you're new to caching, enjoy some great trails and beautiful scenery while hunting for dozens of hides. If you've previously cleared out the CCL caches, come enjoy the area again as some new caches are appearing.
Take caution... the regular hazards like snakes and poison oak can be found in the area, stickers and Star Thistle can be brutal in the summer.
Parking is available for a fee behind the Cool fire station. If you choose to park at a nearby business, please make a purchase at their establishment.
This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache. If you have your own Geo stamp, please use it in the log book in addition to your regular signature. If you don’t have a stamp, use the one provided. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE PROVIDED STAMPER FROM THE CACHE. Thanks!
