The Heart of Kenilworth
Sacred Heart Church was built Kenilworth in 1903. Shortly afterward, six acres of land was purchased north of the church property, one of which was surveyed for a cemetery. On August 24, 1908, the first burial took place of Mary Purtell, aged 45 years. Over the years more land has been surveyed to enlarge the cemetery.
