The Hiway bypassed Bell Block. Then they extended the fabulous Coastal Walkway to Bell Block ,with several lookouts along this walkway, this one has a good views towards the city, and over the water North towards Raglan. A small (200ml?) container with a logbook and room for small items.
You can access the Coastal Walkway from several locations , the city is approx. 6km away on a superb paved walkway, with several caches along the way.
Popular with cyclists and walkers alike, but you won't be able to cycle all the way to this cache. We got a good fix, we believe, due to the big sky overhead.
A wooden decked lookout with a couple of seats at this location, and of course the cache.Hard to give hints on exact location without spoiling it.....where would you put one?
