The town that moved...
Tallangatta was not always where it is today. In the 1950's the Water Commission forced the town to move, as it was to be inundated by the construction of the Hume Dam. When Lake Hume is full, the old town site is under water, but in drought the footings of the old buildings are still visible.
This cache is located in the middle of "New Tallangatta"
